Weekly For All Signs:
This week we will focus on Venus, goddess of relationships, because she is making multiple aspects to other planets. This suggests that many of us will be preoccupied with issues and interests concerning our involvement with others. Venus rules not only romantic love, but also the principle of relatedness among people, whatever that relationship may be. The free flowing aspects of Venus this week favor non sexual friendships. The tenser aspect is connected to our closest intimates, the ones with whom we share our sexuality or our money and material resources. These two human interests, sex and finances, lend themselves to overt and subtle issues of control. During tense aspects of Venus we are more easily drawn into battles over power unless we consciously circumvent the impulse to manipulate others.

Events of this week may bring sudden changes in the world of economics. Global resources have been in a precarious balance for quite some time. The aspect of Sun squaring Uranus may represent a “last straw” event, an apparently minor happening that triggers an inevitable avalanche over the next few months. Keep some cash on hand (not in the bank), just in case the financial outcome is really tight. Uranus is strongly connected to high tech equipment, computers, and the internet. The “last straw” may be composed of lost gigabytes. Keep backups of important data in the cloud or on a thumb drive outside your computer hard drive.

Online news today (CNN):
There's a huge data breach to tell you about this morning, and it might be one of the biggest. A hacker gained access this year to 100 million Capital One credit card accounts and applications. Paige Thompson was arrested yesterday and charged in connection with the hack, the Justice Department said. Thompson, 33, once worked as a software engineer for the cloud-hosting company that Capital One used. The personal information accessed -- which the feds say Thompson tried to share online -- included 140,000 Social Security numbers, 1 million Canadian Social Insurance numbers and 80,000 bank account numbers, as well as people's names, addresses, credit scores and other info. Capital One says it has fixed the problem, will notify those affected and will offer victims free credit monitoring.
